I'm trying to integrate WinEdt text editor with Stata to write and edit DO files. I came across Philip Greenwood's Stata Mode on www.winedt.org for highlighting Stata commands in WidEdt. But his contribution was written for WinEdt version 5. I have the
current version of WinEdt, which is version 6 and has some significant differences from version 5. Does anyone know whether
Stata Mode works with WinEdt 6 or can be adapted. I'm afraid to install Philip's file for fear of corrupting something.
Also, does anyone know of any other resources to get WinEdt 6 to highlight Stata syntax?
