How different is the chi2 test from Wald chi2 test There exists no such thing as "The chi2 test", it is a generic name for all test that use the assumption that the test statistic follows the chi square distribution under the null hypothesis. So which two tests are you comparing? A clear and concise way of telling us that, is to tell us what you typed in Stata, and what it told you in return. Hope this helps, Maarten Ps. I did not mean that you needed to start the first line with <>, I meant that the first line should _only_ contain <>. Your real post should start on the next line. The statalist server sometimes removes the first line, so if deletes your first line when you started it the way you did, it would still remove substantive information from your post, but if it removes it when you started it the way I told you, it would only remove two meaningless characters. -------------------------- Maarten L.
