Colouring is British English; coloring is American English. I see the statement you quoted as meaning exactly what I mean: highlighting means the use of different colours. (In principle, it could mean different fonts, etc.) Nick n.j.cox@durham.ac.uk -----Original Message----- From: owner-statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu [mailto:owner-statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu] On Behalf Of Martin Weiss Sent: 03 June 2010 20:37 To: statalist@hsphsun2.harvard.edu Subject: st: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: Stata updated to 11.1 <> " More importantly, I don't think Stata is either." Well, the -h whatsnew- contains the word "highlighting" a couple of times, but "colour" is nowhere to be found... There are great differences in what either means precisely between editors, but I am not making a distinction between highlighting and colouring. More importantly, I don't think Stata is either.
