Subject: Examiners' dinner
Each year the external examiners meet a small number of colleagues for a
dinner. This year's dinner is on Wednesday 16th June at 7 for 7.30 p.m.
in Hild and Bede. (It is a University rule that a College should be
used.)
You are cordially invited to join the dinner this year. Please let me
know whether you can come and, if so, please do signal if you are
vegetarian or vegan or have other specific dietary restrictions.
Those wondering about dress should note that the event is informal.
Those wanting more advice should choose something between smart casual
and casual smart. Recently gentlemen have mostly not worn ties, unless
of unusual kind, and ladies have similarly pleased themselves.
