st: interpreting mca postestimation command "predict P1, rowscores" in Stata 10

I need help interpreting the output generated from running
"predict P1, rowscores" following a multiple correspondence analysis.
Are the values generated from predicted P1 rowscores equivalent to
summing coordinate weights across the matrix of variables included in
the mca?
I ran a multiple correspondence analysis:
mca (varlist)
I then ran the following-
Predict P1, rowscores
How to interpret the result of that?
Thank you!
