Correct. The program neither knows nor cares what the variables mean
substantively. So long as your problem is of the same form, you can use
it.

Is this correct that Arne's -wtp- module can be used for ratio of a set
of any two coefficients, i.e. one of the coefficients doesn't
necessarily have to be associated with cost?
