"The graph editor doesnt allow me to do any of the above."

It does allow you to do much of "the above". Click your way through the
"Object Browser", all 29 plots listed there. For point 3 on your list, for
instance, click on the plus sign next to "plotregion1", right click "plot
3", "scatter properties" and change the "marker properties" color to "black"
in the dropdown box.

Ok. Here it is.

 use metan_example_data.dta
metan cdeath tdeath cnodeath tnodeath, label(namevar=id) fixed or
xlabel(0.1, 1.0, 10) counts

I am trying to do the following to the resulting forest plot:

1. Remove the light blue (or some color--sorry) border sorrounding the
graph
2. Increase the font size
3. Change the grey box surrounding point estimate to black.
4. Is there a way to have transparent background.

I used to do all of these by copying into powerpoint--> ungroup-->
edit. Now I use Mac, I cant save it as WMF anymore. So no more
ungrouping. The graph editor doesnt allow me to do any of the above.
Again I use Stata 10.
thanks,
Sripal.
