I am writing with regard to how to estimate a model involving sample
selection in the first stage (binary variable) and a bivariate probit model
in the second stage (for those equal to 1 in the first stage). That is, the
second stage attempts to model two attitudes of the same person, conditional
on adopting a particular technology (the selection equation). If it were
just a single probit it would be heckprob, but I am writing to find out what
the command would be for a bivariate probit in this context -- is there a
heckbiprob followed by the select condition for the selection equation?
There doesn't seem to be as far as I can see. Thanks very much in advance.
Best,
Mona
