The file is called -sizefx.ado-, obtained via -findit sizefx-, yet it defines -program- "sizefx2"! When I changed the name of the _file_ to sizefx2, I did get my output:

. sizefx2 weight length

Cohen's d and Hedges' g for weight length
Cohen's d statistic (pooled variance) = 5.1502505
Hedges' g statistic = 5.1502505

Effect size correlations (r) for weight length
ES correlation (Cohen's d method) r = .93218035
ES correlation (Hedges' g method) r = .93300681
r; t=0.01 9:31:42

Hello list members

I was tring to workout effect size using ‘sizefx’ command but Stata gave the message: “(error occurred while loading sizefx.ado)”.
Any idea why?

Many thanks
