Put it inside the -by()- option...
*******
sysuse auto, clear
graph bar (mean) weight, /*
*/ by(, note(" ") title("This is the title")) /*
*/ by(foreign, total rows(1))

After I adding a title option
*************
sysuse auto, clear
graph bar (mean) weight, by(, note(" ")) by(foreign, total rows(1))
title("This is the title")
*************
I have a title for each group bar, which is boring. How to fix it?
