st: Pasting Graphs created with s1rcolor Looses Formatting?

Why is it that when I create a graph using the s1rcolor scheme (reverse color w black background), Copy it, then Paste it into PowerPoint (or other applications) the color scheme is completely lost? But if I use Graph Combine on the same graph (even if when combining no other graph), the color scheme sticks? Is there a way to kill this annoying feature??
Example:
If you graph using scatter x y, scheme(s2color) , the copy/paste preserves the formatting.
But if you graph using scatter x y, scheme(s1rcolor), the paste removes the formatting and results in a white background with all other features a dim gray.
NOTE that even after fine-tuning a graph using Graph Editor, while it may look perfect on screen within STATA, once pasted into PPT or other applications all formatting is lost.
