Subject | st: re: error message when using tmap and shp2dta |
Date | Mon, 22 Feb 2010 01:26:26 -0500 |
Nevermind my previous question...For some reason the version I had installed was not 10.1 but 10.0. The weird thing is that I did a full update only a couple of days ago... Anyway, now I'm getting another error message... . shp2dta using Cont_AAd_CAOP20090, database(ptdb) coordinates(ptcoord) genid(id) st_addvar(): 3300 argument out of range read_dbf(): - function returned error <istmt>: - function returned error r(3300); I'm guessing it has do to with some foreign characters in my dbf file, but I still need to investigate further to confirm this... Thanks! Ana * * For searches and help try: * http://www.stata.com/help.cgi?search * http://www.stata.com/support/statalist/faq * http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/stata/
