Forgive me, but, to add to the confusion, I will be changing my name soon to Maarten Martin. I will also begin replying to questions frequently -- with constructive advice when I can, with alternatives to Maarten's and/or Martin's advice otherwise ("Actually, Maarten, I would do something like this ... Signed, Maarten"). Sometimes I will sign with my first name, sometimes with my last, and sometimes with "Maarten Martin".
My apologies to everyone, but I must do this, since, under doctor's orders, I am required to seek mental stimulation, particularly the kind resulting from pranks. Also, changing my name could help me escape some trouble I've been in lately.
Cheers,
James Fiedler (for now)
ps. On reflection, the doctor might have been joking.
pps. I will not be doing this.

To help avoid such a confusion I have added an audio-file to
my website where I pronounce my name.
