Dear Statalisters

I recently downloaded _ice_ program. Due to system settings (no write
access to any of the folder in the 'C' drive), I could not store ice.ado
file in "C:\Program Files\Stata10\ado\base/i" directory. Instead, I
stored the ice.ado in a network drive.

The -adopath- lists the following ado directory.

. adopath

  [1] (UPDATES) "C:\Program Files\Stata10\ado\updates/"

  [2] (BASE) "C:\Program Files\Stata10\ado\base/i"

  [3] (SITE) "C:\Program Files\Stata10\ado\site/"

  [4] "."

  [5] (PERSONAL) "c:\ado\personal/"

  [6] (PLUS) "c:\ado\plus/"

  [7] (OLDPLACE) "c:\ado/"

  [8] "H:\ado"

When I issue 'which ice', it seems that the ice.ado is in "H:\ado"
folder.

. which ice

H:\ado\ice.ado

*! version 1.6.7 PR/IW 10may2009. For history, see end of this file.

However, when I issue the command _ice_, I get an error message saying
'unrecognised command'.

. ice SEX A2 B1, dryrun

unrecognized command: ice_

r(199);

I am not sure whether the error relates to improper installation of the
program. Any hint on what may be happening would be very helpful.

Thanks in advance.

Regards

Pramod
