What is your "general test"? -help probit postestimation- shows you what is available after -probit-, and the same goes for -logit-. -test-ing the difference between coefficients can be as easy as:

*******
sysuse auto, clear
prob foreign length weight
te length=weight
*******

Subject: st: QAP and statistical significance of differences between pairs of coefficients

In an article I have found:
"the quadratic assignment procedure also allows to test for the statistical signfificance of differences between pairs of coefficients. The following coefficient differences are signifcant at 10% level:...." It continues with reporting pairs of coefficients and indicating which one is larger than the other.

How can I test this ?? Which is the procedure? Please, I need the STATA commands for the QAP. Also the Commands for a general test after logit or probit are welcome.

Thanks!!
Fabio
