I just opened my own christmaspresent and tried the STATA11. I could
not allocate more than 779 MB to the program, whereas I can allocate
much more to STATA9. This is a disappointment. I run Windows XP and
have 2 GB RAM.
Can someone explain these results of the memory command in STATA11 and
STATA9. Is there something I can do to allocate more memory?
