I second all that was written, but particularly this; not least
because I took a call on my mobile from some bloke who had clocked my
mobile number on an old Statalist posting at 07:30 on one day last
week, just as I was heading out the door to get to work! "I'm sorry to
disturb you if you this has woken you up, but it is a very urgent
question..." Patrick Moore always likes to remark that astrologists
have only ever proved one thing: there's one born every minute. He
might also say the same about certain lurkers like this one who read
Statalist postings.
