I have the same version of overid:
. which overid
c:\ado\plus\o\overid.ado
*! overid V2.0.5 07jul2008
*! Authors C F Baum, Vince Wiggins, Steve Stillman, Mark Schaffer
I get the same error as you do on the auto.dta when estimating the ivtobit.
. overid
__00000D not found
r(111);
However, with Stata 10, overid worked on that particular command.
Weird.
