Just a suggestion: (and I only have a very basic knowledge of german language).
Is there not something special in the data where Stata / Access chokes?
To me it looks like the line
''Stipendium im Rahmen des Exzellenzclusters 'Topoi'''
cannot be included in the Access table.
If this looks plausible to you, I would have a look at the quotes first, if they are recognized properly, either by Access, Stata or the connection between the 2. If this is not the case, it could also be something to do with the line before or after ?
Hope this helps
Isabelle

Subject: st: data to Access by odbc
I receive a strange error when I try to insert data from Stata into an Access (2003) database.
. odbc insert id epp* ep1B* ep2B*, table("1") dsn("BN_stata") create
Connection Parameters: DSN=BN_stata;DBQ=Q:\10_Projekte\Profile\60_Daten\01pf\091001n\daten\BN_
> stata.mdb;DriverId=25;FIL=MS Access;MaxBufferSize=4096;PageTimeout=5;
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Syntaxfehler (fehlender Operator) in Abfrageausdruck
> ''Stipendium im Rahmen des Exzellenzclusters 'Topoi'''.
r(682);
When I do
. odbc load, table("1")
I get the exported data back into Stata but there are only 46 cases instead of 2100...
Any kind of ideas?
Thanks,
Marc
