I am running 11 under Windows 7, and noticed an uptick in speed...
No idea about 10, though. Windows 7 does include a feature called "Windows
XP Mode", which emulates conditions under XP, so at least this way, you
should be able to run Stata back to -version-s 8 or maybe even earlier...
