I think that haveing a variable that changes across outcomes is
needed for identification of -nlogit- (though I can't find the
reference).
What R.E. De Hoyos seems to refer to seems to me a sequential
logit model, which can be estimated with -seqlogit- which you
can install by typing: -ssc install seqlogit-
