Dear Statalist,

I am really sorry for posting a pdf attachment with a query about gllamm
earlier.

As I only found out that some statalist members would not have received
it, I am posting the question again.

Could someone please tell me whether the following model could be
estimated in gllamm in stata?

Without going through the full structural equation modelling framework
in gllamm, I would like to know whether one could estimate an overall
latent variable (say eta) as a function of three other sub-latent
variables (say psi1 to psi3) + a few observed variables? I also have
around 3 to 5 variables that could be construed as measuring each of the
sub-latent variables psi1 to psi3). That is, for each of the psi I have
about 3 to 5 variables providing measurement on these psi latent
variables.

I have uploaded the pdf file containing the path diagram for the above
specification at:

http://www.warwick.ac.uk/go/arulampalam/example.pdf

I have emailed both Sophia Rabe-Hesketh as well as Andrew Pickles, some
days ago and have still not received a reply.

I should be most grateful for any help anyone can provide.

Many thanks.
Best
wiji
