I have Stata 9 and Stata 10 on my computer. I have experienced no
conflicts. If you double click on a dta file to open it, it will open up
in the last used version of Stata. This, of course, can lead to an error
message if you are opening a Stata 10 file with Stata 9.

re Stata 11 release: Could any of the long-time users on the list share
their experience/problems/advice for using parallel installations of
two/more Stata installations? Do any conflicts arise between the two? It
is the first time I find myself in this kind of quandary...
