For editing purposes, open it in a text editor. You can run it in Stata by
going to File -> Do... or see -help do-.

Dear list:
I am trying to open a stata do file in the do file editor. But it always
says "could not open file...because the Do-file editor may only contain
131071 bytes". I didn't have this problem before.
Can anyone give me some suggestion on how to deal with this problem.
