Nikolaos describes what he's done but not why. I infer he wants to test
whether each journal has the same or different patterns and whether
these are constant over time - the patterns might be created by patterns
of submission or editorial selection.
Given the data are counts, why not use a log-linear model or
correspondence analysis?
