Subject: st: link regression variables by prefix

I have variables named in regression batches by prefix (e.g., regress a5 on
a1
a2 a3 a4). Altogehter, I have a-z total regressions to run. Is there a way
to
do one regression (e.g., regress a5 on a1 a2 a3 a4) and program so that
stata
knows that the b's go together, c's together, etc.?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide, Mike
