Re: st: cannot start stata in Fedora
Have you followed the routine on e.g.
http://www.ats.ucla.edu/stat/Stata/icu/install_linux.htm
It can be a root problem, have you tried to start stata as root?
Otherwise you can try starting stata by going into your
install-directory (/usr/local/stata9/) and type "./xstata".

I installed STATA9 on Linux Fedora 9. When I started it, the system informed that "/usr/local/stata9/xstata-se: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory"
Could you help me to solve this error?
