Do you mean the distance to the sample mean? At some point, I wrote an
-egen- extension that does Mahalanobis distances, although most likely
it is not -byable- as you might need it to be. I can put it online
although it might take me some while to dig it out... and even more
time to write ten lines of a help file :))
