Subject: st: suffix
Hello,
With renpfix we can prefix variables.
However, I would like to suffix.
Is this possible?

In addition to the other solutions, note also -rensfix- available from
STB-59: dm83. Type -findit rensfix-. The STB article itself is
available from the Stata Press website for free

renames variables by changing the suffix
Despite co-authoring -rensfix-, I tend to use -renvars- for all renaming
situations that -renpfix- does not handle. -renvars- is a very powerful
tool. It would be nice for its features to be incorporated in official
Stata.
PS please note the messages at the end of each Statalist post, i.e.

Having tried these first, you would not have needed to post your
message. Even -findit suffix- would have provided you with a solution.
So too would have -findit rename-
