experts that would charge paying customers well more well over a hundred
dollars an hour for consulting fees. Many of us have students to work
with, papers to get to editors, reviews to do, paying clients, etc.>> 

I realized this makes me sound vastly more important than I really am,
but nonetheless the basic principle holds---as Nick says, many of us are
busy and charge money for services rendered for free here.
