st: logistic regression different results

Hello,

I am running a multiple logistic regression with a backward elimination

sw  logit y x v1 v2 v3 v4 v5 v6 v7 v8, pr(.05)

logit y x


I arrive at the final model (y x). But if I run the final model right
away I get different numbers than when I use backward elimination to
reach the final model.
Any clues?
