Re: st: Stata/SE 10 very slow reading program code

Maarten,
the program code I is:
http://www2.jura.uni-hamburg.de/instkrim/kriminologie/Mitarbeiter/Enzmann/Software/reprate.do
I determine the time by comparing c(current_time) before reading and
after reading the code. The program version and system information I
indicated in my last mail. As I said, Stata/SE 9.2 reads the code in
about 1 second whereas Stata/SE 10.0 needs 35-40 seconds. I don't
pretend that the code is optimal but I don't understand why this could
be the reason Stata needs so much time *reading* it (I'm not talking
about executing, this is similar in Stata 9.2 and Stata 10.0).
