st: graph editor and symbol color

I like colored symbols with the symbol fill color 30 or 50% of the  
outline color. I usually do this at the command line. I don't see a  
way to get this option in the graph editor, only the possibility of  
choosing independent colors. Must I figure out the RGB values of 30 or  
50% of the outline color to do this?

Stata 10 on OS X is what I'm using.
