Dear Tiago,

I was successful in doing this trick using - Save Graph - (please, see
example below)
...........................begin example..................................
use "C:\Documents and Settings\carlo\PSA_Excel.dta", clear
scatter Delta_C Delta_E//* after a click on the obtained graph, choose Save
Graph option and then
save C:\Documents and Settings\carlo\PSA_Excel.dta.wmf
..............................end example...............................

When you open the folder (which is labelled carlo in my example)you can open
the graph with just one click.

HTH and Kind Regards,

Carlo

Oggetto: st: How to save graphs with the same name of the data file

Hello Statalisters!

I am using -graph export- to automatically save a number of graphs (.wmf).
Since I could not find the solution by myself, would it be possible to you
to provide any tips on how to save graphs with the same name of the
original data file?

I mean, I open the test_01.dta file, for instance, and generate a scatter
plot with its data. the objective is to save a test_1.dta.wmf. Is that
possible?

Thank you in advance!

All the best,

Tiago
