Thanks to Kit Baum, an update to the -estout- package is available
from SSC and the -estout- website at http://repec.org/bocode/e/estout
has been updated.
To install the new -estout- version, type
. ssc install estout, replace
or use the -adoupdate- command.
Main changes:
o The default output style of -estout- for screen display (i.e. if
-using- is omitted) is now SMCL. Furthermore, -estout- now suppresses
screen display if -using- is specified (i.e. if the table is written
to a file). Specify -type- to turn screen display on.
o -estadd- now provides support for -brant-, -fitstat-, -listcoef-,
-mlogtest-, and -prchange- from the SPost package by Scott Long and
Jeremy Freese (see http://www.indiana.edu/~jslsoc/spost.htm). The
latest update to the -spost9_ado- package is required. Type
. net from http://www.indiana.edu/~jslsoc/stata/
. net install spost9_ado, replace
to install SPost. See http://repec.org/bocode/e/estout/spost.html for
examples on tabulating SPost results in -esttab- or -estout-.
o -eststo drop- now allows wildcards to drop multiple estimation sets
and there is a
new command -eststo dir- to display a list of the estimates stored by -eststo-.
o The -estout- website at http://repec.org/bocode/e/estout has been
revised and now contains a lot of additional examples.
