Re: st: table output and -tabout-
--
Another approach, is to
1. Remove the ----
2. Copy table as Sven suggests
3 Insert into MS Word
4. Select the table and from the Table Menu choose 'Convert..Text to
Table' with tabs delimiting columns
5. Fix up in Word

I would like to know if there is a way to get this table in a
tab-delimited format? I tried with -tabout- (downloadable from ssc)
but
did not find the solution.

-table- leaves little behind, so -tabout- or other commands have
little to work with.
I usually do this:
1. Select (highlight) the table, using the mouse
2. Right-click and select -copy table-
3. Open Excel and paste the table
4. If needed, format cells (decimals etc.)
5. Copy-and-paste to my word processor document.
Step 2 actually puts tab-delimited text to the clipboard.
You could also save a tab-delimited file from Excel.
For mass production this is not practical, for a single table it works
fine.
