Yes, this code was tested on Stata 10.0, when I just tested it in my
old Stata 9.2 I did not get that error message, but it did create
missing values instead, a look at -help date- told me that in 9.2 I
should use lower case instead of upper case letters:
gen ndate = date(date, "dmy")
