Why not use the -usesas- macro?
If you have both sas and stata installed on your computer, this works very well and can be
accomplished programmatically. It also copies formats and labels and gives comparison
troubleshooting outputs for both input and output files. Christine Leonard

OK but which version of StatTransfer?
I have version 7 but this won't do it. Do I need version 8 or 9?
