If I open the do-file editor in updated Stata 10/SE (running on
Windows XP) (either by clicking on the icon or using -doedit-), the
do-file editor is minimized to the toolbar. Clicking the minimized
do-file editor in the tool bar does not maximize the window. I am
only maximize the do-file editor by right-clicking on the minimized
window and choosing maximize or restore. Once the program window is
maximized (or restored--which also expands the program to the full
screen), I cannot change its size. I am stuck with either a fully
expanded (full-screen) do-file editor, or a completely minimized
window. I would like the do-file editor to be smaller than the full
screen.
Has anyone else experienced this, and how have they fixed it? Or have
I missed some Stata 10 or (more likely) Windows "feature"?
Thanks,
Carole
