Re: st: Metan Help
The latest release of metan requires Stata 9 or 10. However the metan
package, available on SSC, also contains the previous (Stata 7) version of
metan, which has been renamed metan7 and includes the -by- option.
You are nonetheless recommended to upgrade to Stata 10, as the newer metan
has a number of improvements, partiularly to the graphics, over the Stata 7
version.

It seems that the command metan does not work using the option BY or SORT
BY.
Does anyone know why ?
