Dear Friedrich,
there is no built-in way to get the classes you would like. However,
you can trick the program by adding a small constant (e.g., 0.00001)
to your mapping variable: that should do the job.
Best,
Maurizio

Many thanks to everyone who responded to my question. For my original
problem, the option -clmethod(quantile)- with -clnumber(5)- does
indeed work and the regions have the desired color.
If a user of -spmap- wants to specify custom class breaks,
-clbreaks(numlist)- can be used. The help file gives an example. With
-clbreaks(10 15 20 25 50)- these classes are created: [10,15],
(15,20], (20,25] and (25,50].
Is it possible to specify classes like this: [10,15), [15,20), [20,25)
and [25,50]
Friedrich
