Re: st: How to save commands in review window?
ziad,
i am still using stata 8.2. if my recollection is right, that review window
only hold about last 100 commands or so. i don't know whether there is a way
to increase it or even that in stata 9.2 there may be no limit, but just to
save heartaches later in case you it only store last 100 commands or so, you
might want to use (in case you don't already know) -cmdlog- command at the
beginning of your every stata session to save your commands. i always do
both -cmdlog- & -log- (i think these commands should still be the same in
stata 9.2) at the beginning of all my stata sessions. ok, maybe you are only
doing a few lines in which right-click save on the review window should be
ok. just a thought.
regards,
bw
cmdlog = so that i can quickly reproduce (as a do-file) what i did on that
particular session or day (trust me, human memory and recall is fallible!)
log = so that you have a diary of your analyses
