hi

i run the following

nbreg child5a_nu v190 age_regr v106 tsib_grp

and when fitting the model i get (backed up@ during the iteration process ,
started at iteration 13 and still giving the same message at iteration 266,
can someone explain what this term means and does this indicate that i
should be running a different process

related to this the variables on the right hand side for example v190 are
levels of wealth coded 1-5 , would it be preferable to enter these as dummy
variables fr example wealth1-wealth4 , the last being redundant

i am using the models to estimate probabilities and am not at this stage
interested in the individual coefficients
