st: smultron text editor: how to run stata code?

I've obtained the smultron text editor (), a free text editor for Mac 
OS X 10.4 Tiger. I'm seeking tips on how to execute stata code, 
either single line, or a series of highlighted lines, or an entire 
do-file.
