Hi,

I am using gllamm to test a multilevel binary logistic model, I have data for indvidulas nested within countries.

I first test an empty model, without covariates , the variance of the random effect (level 2) was almost equal to its standard error , Var = 0.25 and SE=0.22

I then conclude that my dataset is homogenous with respect to my outcome and consider a standard logistic model without the variable country in the final modl.

Is this a valid model building ?

Thanks a lot for any comments.

Sami
