You mention that the 1s (Y=1) are large enough, is there a rule of thumb
for this ? can you please, provide me with some references?

I would think so, although there is always the possibility that some other
link function (probit, cloglog) or other alternative technique (scobit)
might be better. It seems that the percentage of 1s is large enough that
you don't need rare events logit. Still, you might check out Gary King's
-relogit- program and his papers on it. The program and papers can be
