That doesn't seem right, the log of 0 is missing, and 
if you artificially want to replace that with some 
number it should be very very negative and not 0.

yes, dydx will now get you elasticities in that case 

btw terminology like log linear is not standardized 
across disciplines, for instance I was taught to call a 
model with both the y and the x logged a log-log model 
instead of a log linear model. So instead of using such 
terminology I would just say that both the y and the x 
is logged.
