But where did they (the correlation matrices) come from? From data that
you have? In order to estimate a model for their dependence you have to
know something about the correlation structure of the joint data that
produced them.

There are some characterestics about those two correlation matrices:
1. They have the same dimension.
2. They are both symmetric.
