Thanks to Kit Baum, a new version of the -listtex- package is now
available for download from SSC. In Stata, use the -ssc- command to do
this.
The -listtex- package is described as below on my website. The new
version is updated to Stata 9. However, users of Stata 8 and Stata 7 can
still download the Stata 8 and Stata 7 versions from my website, using
the commands
net from "http://www.imperial.ac.uk/nhli/r.newson/stata8/"
and
net from "http://www.imperial.ac.uk/nhli/r.newson/stata7/"
The new version also fixes a bug, which caused the length of header and
footer lines, specified by the -headlines()- and -footlines()- options,
to be limited to 502 bytes. I would like to thank Friedrich Huebler for
alerting me to this bug, and Kit Baum and Ben Jann for their help and
advice towards finding a solution.
Best wishes
Roger

TITLE
listtex: List variables as rows of a TeX, HTML or word processor
table
DESCRIPTION/AUTHOR(S)
listtex outputs a list of variables to the Stata log or to a file
as TeX,
HTML or word processor table rows, which can then be inserted into
a TeX,
HTML or word processor table by cutting and pasting and/or file
linking
and/or embedding (eg using the TeX \input command). listtex
produces the
table rows, but may also produce a set of header lines before the
table
rows and/or footer lines after the table rows, containing
preambles and/or
table definitions and/or table headers and/or table footers, as
specified
by the user.
