You are not giving us a lot to go on. Given the information you've
given I can say that -regress- (assuming that that is what you're using
for your "one level regression") is in the list of supported regression
commands of -micombine-, and -xtreg- is not. -xtreg- might still work
though, this just means that it hasn't been tested. As for descriptive
statistics you can just the mean of the descriptive statistics over the
five "complete" datasets.
